A distributor of health and beauty products that recently moved from Queens to Suffolk County will hold a job fair Wednesday to fill 60 positions.

Entourage Commerce LLC and its online retailing operation, Pharmapacks, is looking to fill 13 job categories, including machinery mechanic, system administrator, truck driver and customer service representative. Starting hourly pay ranges from $10.50 to more than $15, depending on the job title.

The job fair will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Islandia Town Hall, 1100 Old Nichols Rd. in Islandia.

Entourage officials said the company offers medical benefits to eligible employees, but does not offer retirement plans at this time.

The Suffolk County Department of Labor and Industrial Development Agency is helping the company with the job fair.

Attendees should arrive with a resume and be prepared to be interviewed after completing a written job application.

Earlier this year, the county and New York State offered Entourage up to $3.1 million to move to Long Island instead of New Jersey. The fast-growing company had been operating in College Point, Queens.

Entourage is renting 1516 Motor Pkwy. in Hauppauge, where it expects to add 175 people to its payroll of 250 by 2019, according to an application for IDA tax breaks. Records show employees earn, on average, $26,000 per year, excluding benefits.

Entourage ships 130,000 packages a week, and with its Suffolk home will ship up to 60,000 per day, said CEO and co-owner Jonathan Webb.

He also said the company had sales of $67 million last year, and would end this year with sales of $160 million. He estimated that 2017 sales would total $305 million.

More information about the job fair can be obtained from Merri Hakobyan at merri@pharmapacks.com.
