Floral Park-based FJC Security Services said this week that it has promoted one new executive and hired three more in preparation for a plan to expand its national network of services.
FJC already has offices in has offices in Floral Park and Melville; in Long Island City; at LaGuardia and Kennedy airports; in Newark and Jersey City, N.J.; in Elmsford, Westchester County; in Houston, San Antonio and Fort Worth, Tex.; Fairfax, Va. The company did not say where its further expansion plans are targeted.
One new hire, Karen O'Neill, 43, has been appointed corporate human resources director. Her resume includes eight years in human resources at Ford Motor Co.
Another, Norman Levine, 49, is the new training manager. He is a former Teaneck, N.J., police officer.
The third, Michael Beckerich, 47, is vice president of business development. He previously was managing director of an international security company.
And a current employee, Michael Montemarino, 51, has been promoted to vice president of operations. He is a retired NYPD officer.
"Their skill sets increase our ability to provide top-flight security services to our clients across the country, keeping us on the leading edge of security providers nationwide," Frank Califano Sr., the company owner, above left, said in a prepared statement on Wednesday.
