Hain Celestial wins 'green' prize in U.K.

The Hain Celestial Group said Wednesday that its British subsidiary was selected as a Best Green Companies award winner in a contest sponsored by the Sunday Times of London.

This is the fourth year in a row the Melville-based company made the list. In the United Kingdom, it owns and operates the Linda McCartney frozen vegetarian foods label, and the Daily Bread fresh-prepared food company.
