Hauppauge-based trade group HIA-LI will host on May 25 its 29th Annual Trade Show and Conference, designed for business-to-business companies to learn, network and grow.

The trade show will be held at the Suffolk Community College Sports & Exhibition Complex, 1001 Crooked Hill Rd. in Brentwood.

It is free to attend the 60,000-square-foot show floor from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., which will feature hundreds of local companies exhibiting a wide variety of products and services. This year’s show will include eight industry-specific pavilion areas: finance; green industries, energy and environment; innovation; manufacturing and made in America; technology; wellness and health care; and workforce development.

The event begins at 8 a.m. with breakfast keynote speaker Brandon Steiner, founder and chief executive of Steiner Sports, who will talk about how Long Island businesses can grow by differentiating themselves from competitors while motivating employees.

A luncheon panel will discuss economic development issues on Long Island and revitalization projects including the Ronkonkoma Hub, Wyandanch Rising, Downtown Patchogue and Hauppauge Industrial Park Growth Plan.

Tickets to the breakfast or lunch cost $50 each for members and $65 for non-members.

The event will also offer seminars and breakout sessions throughout the day, on topics such as sales, marketing, business development, technology, energy, and environmental products and services.
