Intellicheck Mobilisa Inc., a Washington State ID-verification company with a major development and research office in Woodbury, says it has a new strategic partnership with a Manhattan real estate management software company.

Intellicheck, which makes ID-check scanners, says the alliance with Workspeed Management LLC, will "deliver the industry’s most advanced visitor security solution" for building access control.

Intellicheck will provide scanners that, with Workspeed's technology, "will now benefit from increased security and flexibility by allowing visitors to swipe a driver’s license for building access," the companies said in a Tuesday news release.

"While the security guard on duty will continue to perform a visual check of the visitor’s ID, the electronic swipe will also verify that the ID is authentic, and produce a date and time-stamped visitor log."

Workspeed is a supplier to 2,000 buildings in the U.S., providing "a single, flexible and intuitive rule-based platform (for more than) ...250,000 users in over 800 million square feet of commercial and residential properties," the company said.
