Publicly traded iGambit Inc. has closed on its acquisition of HubCentrix Inc. and plans to close on another acquisition within 30 days.
iGambit, a technology holding company based in Smithtown, signed letters of intent in August 2016 to make both acquisitions in stock deals, the company announced Wednesday.

iGambit said it hopes to close on the second acquisition, a deal for assets of the CyberCare Health division of EncounterCare Solutions Inc., within 30 days. EncounterCare Solutions is based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. CyberCare Health Network provides online telehealth services, such as allowing doctors to monitor patients’ vital signs remotely, and home health care equipment.
Shares of iGambit rose 6 cents to close at 13 cents in over-the-counter trading Thursday. The stock has risen more than 85 percent since the beginning of the year.
