Two executives at New Hyde Park-based Kimco Realty Corp. have been promoted to corporate vice president positions, the company said.
Paul Westbrook and David Bujnicki were promoted last week, the company said in a Thursday news release.
David Henry, the Kimco chief executive, said the two are important additions to the company's senior management group. "The board has recognized their exceptional leadership skills in managing and communicating Kimco’s financials and other strategic activities."
Kimco bills itself as North America’s largest owner and operator of neighborhood and community shopping centers.
Westbrook, who was also given the job title of chief accounting officer, has worked at Kimco for nine years, most recently as vice president of financial reporting.
In his new role, Westbrook "is responsible for the company’s accounting policies and procedures, financial reporting activities and interface with internal and external audit groups," the company said.
Bujnicki, formerly senior director of investor relations, has the new job titles of corporate vice president and vice president of investor relations and corporate communications. He reports directly to David Henry.
Bujnicki, will retain oversight of investor relations, with new responsibilities for marketing and corporate communications. He has been with Kimco for eight years.
