Long Island public relations guru Steve Haweeli is packaging his company's expertise and making it affordable to restaurateurs in New York City.
Haweeli's East Hampton company, WordHampton Public Relations, is launching a new division called Metro Restaurant Marketing, the company announced in a news release.
Metro will offer social media, digital marketing and public relations services tailored to the New York City restaurant industry. The company slogan on its website reads "Stand out in a city of 24,000 restaurants."
The company's goal is to provide affordable marketing for restaurateurs, because the services will be offered in a package. Metro will officially launch Aug. 15, and is already working on projects for three clients, according to a spokesperson for WordHampton.
WordHampton is well known on Long Island for representing restaurants and hotels such as Finnegan's in Huntington, the Garden City Hotel, and Nick and Toni's in East Hampton.
