NONPROFITS

Anthony Fullington of Dix Hills has been hired as chief financial officer at United Way of Long Island in Deer Park. He was CFO/senior executive leader of global financial operations for The Hunger Project in Manhattan.

Jean Smith has been hired as director of development at the Developmental Disabilities Institute in Smithtown. She led development at the Institute of Physics in London and is moving to Long Island.

EDUCATION

Long Beach Public Schools has named two administrators.

Lorraine Radice of Valley Stream, director of elementary curriculum, instruction and assessment, was a middle school English, enrichment and science teacher and a literacy specialist.

Ayesha McArthur of Kew Gardens Hills, Queens, interim assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, was principal of Greencastle Elementary School in Silver Spring, Maryland.
