Long Island Autism Communities Inc. in Deer Park has two new board members.

Dr. Lisa M. Sclafani of Brookville is director of surgical services at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Commack and a professor of surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan.

Gary Katz of Plainview is the former president and CEO of the International Securities Exchange in Manhattan.


Brooke Rosenberg of Port Washington has been hired as a family law attorney at Simonetti & Associates in Woodbury. She held the same position at Dobrish Michaels Gross in Manhattan.

Brian Haran of Rockville Centre has been hired as a senior associate attorney in health care reimbursement/recovery at Genser Dubow Genser & Cona in Melville. He was a trial lawyer at Cobert, Haber & Haber Attorneys at Law in Garden City.


James Widmer of Farmingdale, executive director of Nassau BOCES in Garden City, has been promoted to associate superintendent for business services.
