North Shore Eye Care, a division of SightMD, has hired five new doctors.

Dr. Michael Savetsky of Huntington, an ophthalmologist, corneal specialist, cataract and laser vision-correction surgeon, has joined the practice in Smithtown and Huntington. He held the same position at Foothill Eye Institute in Glendora, California.

Dr. Brad Kligman of Manhasset, an ophthalmologist, corneal specialist, cataract and laser vision-correction surgeon, has joined the practice in Garden City and Smithtown. He held the same titles in a fellowship with the Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Michael Gold of Dix Hills, an ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon, has joined the practice in Little Neck. He was in a private practice in Little Neck.

Dr. Craig Richter of Huntington, an ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon, has joined the practice in Huntington. He was in a private practice in Huntington.

Dr. Paul Sforza of Manhasset, an ophthalmologist, corneal specialist, cataract and laser vision-correction surgeon, has joined the practice in Little Neck. He was in a private practice in Whitestone, Queens.

Niurqui Mariano of Valley Stream has been appointed manager of health care outreach at CaringKind in Manhattan, which serves those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. She was development, communication and operation manager at The Early Childhood Parenting Center in Santa Monica, California.
