Exit Realty Achieve in Smithtown has hired two real estate sales agents. Barry Calvagna of Commack was past owner of Re/Max in Huntington and founder of Sonic Realty Group in Huntington. Tina Fries of Commack held a similar position at Sonic Realty Group in Huntington.

Netter Real Estate in West Islip has hired four new agents. Nadine Trizulino of Bay Shore was a hairstylist at New Style in Brooklyn. Jake Guadagno of Central Islip was an agent at Coldwell Banker in Ronkonkoma. Elisabeth C. Pfingst of West Islip was a student at the Arts Students League of New York in Manhattan. Lisa Campbell of Ocean Beach was a bartender at Houser’s in Ocean Beach.


Allan M. Dorman of Islandia, mayor of the Village of Islandia, has been elected president of the Suffolk County Village Officials Association in Greenport.

The Nassau County Village Officials Association in New Hyde Park has elected officers.

Bernie Ryba of Old Brookville, mayor of the Village of Old Brookville, has been elected president.

Robert Kennedy of Freeport, mayor of the Village of Freeport, has been elected first vice president.

Elaine Phillips of Flower Hill, mayor of the Village of Flower Hill, has been elected second vice president.

Ralph Ekstrand of Farmingdale, mayor of the Village of Farmingdale, has been elected treasurer.

Bonnie Spiro Schinagle of Laurel Hollow, a special education lawyer with her own practice in Syosset and Manhattan, has been elected to the board of directors of the Child Abuse Prevention Services in Roslyn.


Gregg Aprahamian of East Northport has been appointed executive vice president of human resources at Arbor Commercial Mortgage in Uniondale. He was senior HR partner at Thomson Reuters in Manhattan.


Gary A. Thayer of Merrick, of counsel at Archer, Byington, Glennon & Levine, a labor and employment law firm in Melville, has been promoted to partner.
