The American Society of Civil Engineers Long Island Branch has elected its board of directors.

Adam DeVito of Cold Spring Harbor, a structural engineer with WSP in Manhattan, has been elected president.

Daniel H. Winkelman of Greenlawn, senior transportation engineer with VHB in Hauppauge, has been elected president-elect.

Rafiqul Chowdhury of Bayside, project engineer with Grace Industries in Plainview, has been elected vice president.

The Family & Children’s Association in Mineola has elected two board trustees.

Adam Blank of Muttontown is president of Sleepy’s in Hicksville.

David Lyons of Long Beach is vice president of business services at PSEG Long Island in Uniondale.

Nicholas R. Ramcharitar of Jamaica has been hired as an associate at Keegan & Keegan, Ross & Rosner in Patchogue. He was an associate with the Suffolk County Leagal Aid Society in Central Islip.

Megan M. Murphy of Farmingdale has been hired as an associate at Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles in Islandia. She was an associate at Grundfast & Higham in Stony Brook.

Irene A. Zoupaniotis of Astoria, Queens, has been hired as a labor and employment associate at Farrell Fritz in Uniondale. She was a litigation associate at McGiveny & Kluger in Manhattan.

HEALTH CARE

Eric Spronz of Coram, a psychiatric nurse practitioner, has joined the private practice of Dr. Alan Steinberg at East End Neuropsychiatric Associates in Centereach. He was with the emergency psychiatric program at Stony Brook University Medical Center.

Zach Mayo of Roslyn has been hired as East Coast commercial banking regional manager for City National Bank in Manhattan. He was a managing director and head of the middle market segmentcq at Citibank in Manhattan.
