The Tourette Association of America in Bayside, Queens, has announced a new hire and a promotion.

Karon Campbell Williams of Oyster Bay has been hired as director of development. She was an annual fund manager at Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology in Flushing, Queens.

Michelle Gutmann of Floral Park, special events manager, has been promoted to director of special events.

The North Shore Child & Family Guidance Center in Roslyn Heights has added two new members to its board of directors.

Matilde Broder of Muttontown is the owner of Power Travel in Plainview.

Troy Slade of Manhattan is vice president of business development at the NFP/BWD insurance group in Plainvew.

Keyana Wright of Massapequa, supervisor of transportation for the Massapequa public schools, has been appointed president of the New York Association for Pupil Transportation, Nassau Chapter.

Louis Hirschfield of Bellmore, director of pupil personnel services for the Wantagh school district, has been appointed vice president.

The New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants has elected four new officers on its board of directors.

Harold L. Deiters III of Yaphank, a partner at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause in Melville, has been elected president-elect.

John S. Shillingsford Jr. of East Northport, partner at Albrecht Viggiano Zureck & Company in Hauppauge, has been elected vice president.

Michael M. Todres of Manhattan, managing partner of Todres & Company in Westbury, has been elected director-at-large.

Christopher Cahill of Floral Park, a partner at Deloitte & Touche in Manhattan, has been elected director-at-large.

Dennis Santare of Garden City, vice president of sales and marketing of Aircraft Propeller Service, Lake Zurich, Illinois, has been named to the board of directors of the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City.
