Long Island hires and promotions: Massapequa School District

EDUCATION

The Massapequa School District Board of Education appointed five administrators.

Deja Berry of Amityville has been appointed executive assistant to the principal at the main campus of Massapequa High School. She was interim curriculum associate of mathematics at Berner Middle School.

Barbara Lowell of Massapequa has been appointed executive assistant to the principal at Berner Middle School. She was dean of students there.

Kenneth Wing of Massapequa Park has been appointed dean of students at Massapequa High School. He taught math and served as the part-time attendance officer at the Ames campus.

Michael Gargiulo of West Islip has appointed assistant to the superintendent for human resources and general administration. He was the business services and professional development coordinator at Nassau BOCES.

Patricia Quinn-Hendry of East Northport has been named assistant principal of Unqua Elementary School. She was assistant principal of P.S. 29 in College Point, Queens.
