Michael Gillen of Westbury has been hired as a senior systems engineer at E&I Cooperative Services Inc. in Jericho. He had a similar job with All Covered in Manhattan.

D&B Engineers and Architects in Woodbury has four new hires.

 

John Kempf of Staten Island, a senior construction inspector, was a New York City electrical manager and safety specialist and mid-Atlantic regional area instructor with NRG Energy, Solar Division, on Staten Island.

 

Francis Merklin of Massapequa, engineer I, holds a civil engineering degree from Manhattan College and was an intern at D&B.

 

Karl Dieter Thomann of Williston Park, engineer I, is an environmental engineering graduate of the University of Delaware and was a public health aide with the Nassau County Department of Health in Mineola.

 

Christina Conte of Commack, accounts payable specialist, was an accounts receivable clerk at the law offices of Forster & Garbus in Commack.
