Kristin Ochtera of East Rockaway, president of the East Rockaway School District school board, has been elected to the Nassau-Suffolk School Boards Association executive board.

Andrew A. Kimler of Forest Hills, partner at Vishnick McGovern Milizioin Lake Success, has been appointed to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, mediation panel.

Corinne Hammons of Setauket, CEO of Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York in Brooklyn, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Health & Welfare Council of Long Island in Melville.

The Child Care Council of Suffolk Inc. in Commack has added two members to its board of directors.

Sammy Chu of Lindenhurst is the chief innovation officer at Enerlogic in Plainview.

Jeffrey M. Yonkers of Sayville is chief financial officer at Best Market in Bethpage.
