Long Island hires and promotions: Racanelli Construction

Racanelli Construction Co. Inc. in Melville has hired two assistant project managers.

John DeRosa of Floral Park was a project manager with E-J Electric Installation Co. in Long Island City.

Kenneth Gomez of Mastic Beach was assistant project manager with Sandpebble Builders in Southampton.


Jacek Czaplicki of Amityville has been hired as a sales associate at Realty Connect USA in Woodbury. He had a similar position at Michael J. Watts & Associates in Islip.


The Estate Planning Council of Nassau County has appointed officers and executive board members for the 2016-2017 fiscal year.

James T. Peluso of Melville, a certified trust and financial adviser for Raymond James Financial Services in Melville, has been appointed president.

James P. O’Connor of Levittown, an attorney and tax principal for Albrecht, Viggiano, Zureck & Co. in Hauppauge, has been appointed vice president.

Robert A. Moro of Hauppauge, a chartered financial consultant and president of Pinnacle Strategies Inc. in Smithtown, has been appointed treasurer.

Melissa M. Gonzalez of Greenlawn, a senior tax manager at the WeiserMazars accounting firm in Woodbury, has been appointed secretary.

Sharon Pazienza of Coram, a financial adviser with the First National Bank of Long Island in Garden City, has been appointed to the executive board.

William B. James III of Greenwich, Connecticut, a trust and financial adviser and trust officer at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Melville, has been appointed to the executive board.

Mark J. Ackerman of Woodbury, a partner at Prager Metis in Woodbury, has been appointed to the executive board.

Suzanne Q. Burke of Bayport, an attorney at Harding, Burke & Hogan in Garden City, has been appointed to the executive board.


Irene Crisci of Commack, head of public services of the Gould Law Library at Touro Law Center in Central Islip, has been promoted to interim director of the library, effective Aug. 1.
