Two Microsoft Store locations on Long Island will host separate panels on Wednesday with business experts on how entrepreneurs can start businesses.

The Microsoft Store in the Roosevelt Field mall, at 630 Old Country Rd. in Garden City, will host a panel from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on tips, tricks and fundamentals to kick start a business. The event will feature Esther Fortunoff, president of Fortunoff Brands; Andrew Hazen, co-founder and CEO of LaunchPad Long Island; and Jeffrey Rogers, e-commerce and small business finance expert.

The Microsoft Store in the Walt Whitman Shops, at 160 Walt Whitman Rd. in Huntington Station, will host a similar panel from noon to 1:30 p.m. The event will feature Corrinne Graham, a management consultant and small business specialist. She serves as an educational liaison at Farmingdale State College, Stony Brook University and the University of the West Indies-Institute for Sustainable Development. She is also chairwoman of the Long Island Advancement of Small Business’ Women in Business Committee.

The panels are part of a broader effort by Microsoft to support National Entrepreneurship Week, which runs from Monday to Sunday.
