Stony Brook expo targets minority- and women-owned businesses

The third annual Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises Opportunities Expo Series will be held on Long Island on June 28.

The free expo, sponsored by Empire State Development’s Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development, will be held at Stony Brook University’s Charles B. Wang Center, 400 Circle Rd. in Stony Brook, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event aims to connect MWBEs with New York State agencies, prime contractors and experts. The expo will feature workshops and panel discussions about MWBE certification, business development resources, and state-sponsored financial and technical assistance programs.
