Nassau County homeowners recovering from superstorm Sandy can get help in Long Beach on Friday.

Nassau County and Long Beach city officials will staff a Storm Recovery Help Station from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the city boardwalk at Riverside Boulevard, in front of the food trucks. Disaster case managers and an architect will take questions and offer referrals.

For more information, contact Michael Raab, Sandy storm recovery liaison for Nassau County, at or 516-572-1395. Homeowners are asked to send emails instead of leaving voicemails, and to provide their name, address, phone number, New York Rising number and a description of the problem.
