More than 50 business people turned out Thursday morning for a networking business breakfast in Melville organized by the Long Island Association and titled "Turbo Networking."
The business organization described the program this way: "You prepare your "elevator speech" and bring plenty of business cards, and we'll guide you through a series of facilitated round-table discussions to "do more business." Fun, fast, and very productive, we keep you on target to maximize your time and contacts." The participants above are seen going through a group exercise.
Here's more information about the LIA's networking events. And, full disclosure, this one was held at and sponsored by Newsday. The session began before 9 a.m. and was to last until 11.
