New faces on local boards

Lance Wallach of Plainview, left, was appointed to the board at He is managing director at VEBA Plan in Plainview, which provides financial expert witness services.

Carol Markman, right, a partner at the Syosset accounting firm Feldman, Meinberg & Co. was appointed to the tax practice responsibilities committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She lives in Westbury.

The Nassau County Firefighters Museum and Education Center in Garden City announced new board members. John Murray of Rockville Centre is a safety instructor at the museum. John Mirando, also of Rockville Centre, is a professional engineer. Oyster Bay resident James Cammarata has his own law firm in Oyster Bay. Frank Nocerino is deputy commissioner of parks for the Town of Oyster Bay and lives in North Massapequa. Neil McCann of New Hyde Park owns McCann Plumbing and Heating. All are long-term members of Long Island fire departments.
