A Farmingdale real estate company, the Dallow Agency, has a new affiliation deal with the national chain Century 21 Real Estate.

Dallow, which was previously with Century 21 for nearly two decades, from 1981 to 2002, has more than 75 agents in Farmingdale and North Bellmore.

"The visibility and name recognition of Century 21 cannot be overstated", owner Rich Dallow, above left, said in a news release.

"Having been with the Century 21 brand for more than 20 years and having left to join a different brand for the past 8½ years, made me realize just how valuable" the affiliation is, he said. The company’s website DallowRealty.com yesterday said it is part of the Weichert Realtors Group.

The new franchise agreement comes as Century 21 is embroiled in a heated legal dispute with another Long Island agency, Greenvale-based Laffey Real Estate Inc. Laffey said in September that the underlying dispute is based on its view that Century 21 failed to meet its contractual duties. Century 21, though, says it broke with Laffey because the agency did not follow the terms of an agreement.
