American Medical Alert Corp., of Oceanside, known as AMAC, has won a three-year, $3 million contract to provide pharmaceutical brand support and clinical contact communications for a major drugmaker.
AMAC did not name the client, but said it is among the ten largest companies in its product category.
"This large scale award will entail end-to-end brand support communications for four brands," the company said in a Monday news release.
"AMAC was chosen through a competitive process for its proven ability to exceed brand goals on inaugural, as well as current projects performed for this Fortune 500 Company. The award is expected to generate approximately three million dollars in revenue over the term of the contract.," the company said.
AMAC, traded on the Nasdaq, describes itself as a provider of healthcare communication services and advanced "telehealth monitoring technologies." It operates a round-the-clock medical-alert call center, and provides networks of remote health monitoring devices.
