The NorthEastern Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee for the Outside Electrical Industry begins taking applications Monday for 10 to 20 outside electrical line worker apprenticeships, officials said.
Applications can be found at www.NEAT1968.org. There is a $22 testing fee and a $3 processing fee for all completed applications.
The recruitment period ends on Oct. 13, 2015.
Applicants should be 18 or older, be physically able to perform electrical line-worker work, pass a drug test, have a driver's license and commercial driver's permit or license, and be able to travel to worksites in New York and nine other New England and mid-Atlantic states.
