The playground professionals at APCPLAY help Toll Brothers ensure family friendly environment of new Reata North subdivision in Parker, CO with new community park equipment.
Parker, Colorado (PRWEB) October 30, 2015
Often times, during planning and development the number of lots, unit sizes, municipal constraints and budgets are the principal concerns, whereas public recreational spaces are an afterthought. That is why APCPLAY was excited to work with luxury home builders, the Toll Brothers, Inc. (NYSE: TOL). They were happy to learn firsthand that the Toll Brothers "build more than homes; [they] build communities." With their new Reata North Development in Parker, Colorado, they have proven that statement by building a new community park, complete with commercial playground equipment from APCPLAY.
Since 1967, Toll Brothers has been building luxury communities across the country, earning numerous industry awards, such as being named 2014 National Builder of the Year by BUILDER magazine, and becoming a publicly traded Fortune 1000 company. They're currently building homes in 50 markets across 19 states, including the one in Parker. During that time the company has made many pivotal vendor relationships to streamline the community building process.
However, only recently did the company begin to develop their online relationship with APCPLAY, a commercial playground equipment and site furnishing supplier and installer. Toll Brothers' Land Development Estimator, Robert McNamara, reached out to APCPLAY, having already planned a community space for Reata North, to accommodate two playground structures designed for child age groups 2-5 and 5-12 respectively.
APCPLAY Playground Specialist, Sarah Priest, helped McNamara choose their "Sunnyville" and "Riviera" commercial play structures, as well as some benches for parents to keep a watchful eye. She knew that the play activities provided in both structures would ensure that children of all age groups and ability levels would be able to enjoy the new community park. Priest informed McNamara that both structures are fitted with ADA transfer stations, should children with mobility issues join the community.
The "Sunnyville" playground structure from APCPLAY is engineered to entertain up to 22 children in the 2-5 year old age range with its slides, climber, and activity panels. The "Riviera" can accommodate 26 children ages 5-12 years old, and boasts two slides, three climbers, a post-mount steering wheel, and a roto-molded plastic roof for shade. The slides on both structures provide classic playground fun, while the climbers challenge children physically. The other activities are designed to help children develop certain cognitive skills and encourage their imaginations.
APCPLAY knows that the park is where kids can be kids, and where a community is most easily formed. While Toll Brothers still have quite a bit of homes yet to be constructed in the Reata North Development, their new community park equipment from APCPLAY helps them stay true to their mission statement. It proves that, "In [their] communities, luxury meets convenience and neighbors are friends."
