The 10/10/10 initiative is focused on getting jobseekers hired so they can earn extra cash for the upcoming holidays.
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 09, 2015
Apploi (http://www.apploi.com) launched a nationwide effort to connect jobseekers with employers who are looking to fill open positions and part-time seasonal retail jobs in preparation for the busy holiday shopping season.
The 10/10/10 effort kicks off with 10 events in 10 cities and showcases thousands of local jobs in retail, hospitality and service industries. All of these events are being held on October 10th, 2015 but job seekers can use Apploi services at any time online or via the mobile job search app (available on iTunes and Google Play).
Some of the companies currently hiring include: GrubHub, H&M, Panera, Rainbow Stores, Cinnabon, Fire House Subs, Sweetgreen, Bowlmor/AMF, McDonalds and thousands of additional brand name retail and hospitality companies.
?Seasonal hiring is getting started and we want to get the best jobs in front of our Apploi Community Members and we are doing this by bringing the job search to where they are, in their communities.? Said Adam Lewis, Apploi?s CEO.
Apploi team members are running each local career event and will be available to answer questions about the Apploi job search app, guide job seekers with their search and assist people applying for jobs. These events are free and open to the public.
Events are taking place in the following 10 cities:
New York, NY

Apploi is an ecosystem in which jobseekers and employers can more easily connect. The job search app is available on the Google Play and App stores, as well as on the web, where jobseekers can apply for jobs and find expert job search advice. Apploi is already working with over 5,000 brands across the United States, primarily in the retail, restaurant, service, and hospitality sectors. Users can apply to jobs directly though the app and use a video response to show their personality and skills far more effectively than a traditional resume.
The Internet never did for the service and support industries what it did for corporate hiring, and Apploi is trying to change that. The company was recently recognized by The White House as an ?American Innovator? and also won a 2014 Tabby Awards. Apploi was a runner-up in the global Startup of 2014 'Pitch Competition' at WebSummit 2014 in Dublin.
Apploi continues to drive its mission of providing access to jobs and helping companies reach talent they have long been unable to engage. Through partnerships with state and municipal governments ? including New York State, the City of Baltimore, and Washington State ? as well as with colleges, public libraries, and shopping centers throughout the United States jobseekers can apply to jobs at Apploi?s public job search kiosks. These kiosks connect jobseekers to opportunities they might otherwise miss using traditional job search techniques.
