Art and Technology Roundtable Comes to Pasadena

“Get Art out of Technology” Event Hosted by Echo-Factory Asks if Art and Technology Belong Together

A roundtable discussion on Monday, Oct. 19 will ask the question of whether art belongs with technology. The discussion, titled “Get Art out of Technology,” will be at Cross Campus Pasadena, 85 N. Raymond Ave., starting at 4:30 p.m.

The event is hosted by Pasadena advertising agency Echo-Factory as part of Innovate Pasadena Connect Week 2015.

The roundtable discussion will feature three panelists from leading technology and marketing firms in the region. Tony McCall is the managing director for North America for Ableton, a developer of leading audio production software. Cleigh Reed is a photographer and cinematographer from the Red Digital Camera Company, a manufacturer of professional-grade digital cinematography and photography tools. Dea Goldsmith is the co-founder and chief creative officer of Echo-Factory.

The discussion will be moderated by Jordan Hochenbaum, co-founder of online creative education platform Kadenze.
