Blenderbox partnered with the Corporation to launch a dynamic new website, recently recognized in the Charitable Organizations / Non-Profit category.
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) May 07, 2016
In the recent 20th Annual Webby Awards competition, Blenderbox, an interactive agency, was recognized with Carnegie Corporation of New York as an honoree in the Charitable Organizations / Non-Profit website category.
"We are a team of talented strategists, designers and developers who strive for excellence with each initiative we take on. Industry recognition such as this affirms that we are achieving this goal, but what we take most pride in, is that we are able to do so with such esteemed partners as Carnegie Corporation of New York," said Blenderbox’s President and Founder, Sarah Jeffries.
Carnegie Corporation's website (http://www.carnegie.org) was created after an extensive strategic planning process, where Blenderbox worked closely with the philanthropic foundation to completely re-think its web presence. It was essential that the new site capture the Corporation’s dynamism as it moves past its 100th year. Finding the right balance between the serious tone of the grant data with the journalistic narratives of the grantees’ work was the principal goal.
"Carnegie Corporation of New York is proud to have partnered with the talented team at Blenderbox on this important project," said Robert Nolan, Director of Communications and Content Strategy. "Bringing to life the Corporation's rich history as well as our current areas of grantmaking was no small task, and recognition by the Webby Awards is affirmation that our mission to advance the dissemination of knowledge and understanding is just as relevant today as it was when Andrew Carnegie established the Corporation in 1911."
Blenderbox couples expertise with a hands-on creative approach to solving the problems clients face when creating online experiences. This style of work has made Blenderbox the go-to agency for nonprofits, arts and cultural institutions, and educators. Recently, Blenderbox has partnered with clients like The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, The New York City Department of Education, and Lincoln Center Theater. For more information, visit http://www.blenderbox.com, or call 718.963.4594 x110.
