Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) May 09, 2016

HotWax Systems, global leader in Apache OFBiz and creator of the HotWax Commerce enterprise commerce platform, is pleased to announce the appointment of e-commerce business expert Ben Johnson as director of sales.

"Beginning with this hire, we’re taking the HotWax sales organization to the next level," states Mike Bates, founder and chief executive officer. "We needed someone with the right combination of professional experience and entrepreneurial vision to make the effort successful, and Ben is that guy. His customer focus, supply chain experience, and many years in the outdoor retail space make him an excellent fit for this crucial role."

Johnson joins HotWax Systems with an impressive 17-year history of representing both product manufacturers and retail distribution channels.

As a former retail storefront business owner, he built his extensive understanding of omnichannel retailing from the ground up, and understands firsthand the challenges involved in running and growing a business.

Johnson’s strategic account management background includes multiple outdoor industry product manufacturers. He has consistently delivered on revenue growth through successful multi-year targeted marketing and sales campaigns.

Johnson holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of Puget Sound and relishes powder days and mountain biking in his “backyard”-- the beautiful Wasatch Mountains.

“I’m stoked to be joining this accomplished team,” comments Johnson. "My vision for HotWax Systems expands beyond the great product we have today, by adding valuable partnerships and solutions in this constantly changing digital commerce landscape. I’m looking forward to being a part of this talented group.”
