Gaithersburg Home Services Company Makes the Inc. 5000 List with an 87% Three-Year Growth Rate

Shanco Companies Uses Growth to Add 25 Jobs to Local Economy

Gaithersburg, MD (PRWEB) October 22, 2015

Shanco Companies, a residential and commercial exterior services company based out of Gaithersburg, Maryland, made the prestigious Inc. 5000 list of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Companies such as Yelp, Dell, LinkedIn, Zillow, and many other well-known companies got early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000.

Shanco Companies experienced an 87 percent growth rate over the past three years, adding 25 jobs to the local economy. Their commercial division has also been booming, which has been a significant part of their growth. Making the Inc. 5000 has been a goal for CEO Shannon Allcock for a few years, and he couldn’t be happier to be part of this elite group.

“We couldn’t be prouder. All the members of the Shanco team have worked incredibly hard to get us to this point. We’re focused on providing the best craftsmanship and highest level of customer service, and this wouldn’t have been possible without everyone on the team striving to meet those high standards,” he said.

The 2015 Inc. 5000 is the most competitive group in the list's history. The Inc. 5000's aggregate revenue is $205 billion, generating 647,000 jobs over the past three years. The list is unveiled online at, with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc.
