Grumman Gallery Brings Celebrity Portraits to Long Island

Celebrated Photographers Join Forces on New Exhibit at Long Island’s Grumman Gallery

Bethpage, NY (PRWEB) May 14, 2014

The work of Asia Lee, Joshua Bernstein, Peter Max and the late Milton H. Greene will be on display in an exclusive exhibition beginning May 15th, 2014 at Bethpage, New York’s Grumman Gallery. Asia Lee’s landscapes have received critical praise and she will be displaying an exclusive pair of never-before-seen Michael Jackson images. Joshua Bernstein and Milton H. Greene are both celebrated for their celebrity photography, and Peter Max re-imagined Greene's work by adding bursts of color and light over them.

“These collections mean so much to me, beyond the incredible talent of the people involved. It will be such an honor to display exclusive, historic photography of stars like Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and Elizabeth Taylor in a celebrated film studio. Joshua Bernstein and Milton H. Greene’s photography changed the way the world looked at celebrities and the quality that people came to expect through portraiture. Peter Max tells new stories through his exciting work 'on' Greene's pieces. This stunning array of artwork is why Grumman Gallery continues to generate buzz all over the art world,” said Vanessa Ferrelli, Grumman Gallery’s owner.

Collectors and enthusiasts will have opportunities to purchase the work at the event or to preview the work early by appointment-only. The show’s invitation-only soiree will include celebrities, such as: Gianni Russo (The Godfather, Any Given Sunday), William Sadler (Shawshank Redemption, Iron Man 3), and more.

Gruman Gallery's new exhibition opens officially on Thursday, May 15th, 2014 from 6pm-9pm. A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to: The All Stars Project, Inc., a charity that creates extracurricular educational and performing arts activities for thousands of underprivileged children and minorities.

Grumman Gallery is currently previewing all of the pieces by appointment-only. It is located at: 500 Grumman Road West, Suite: 1, Bethpage, New York 11714. For media inquiries or to schedule a private viewing, contact: Stephanie Arcabascio at 917-387-7277.
