ITsavvy just opened a leading-edge datacenter in Cedar Knolls, N.J. The newly upgraded facility is nearly unrivaled in the Manhattan area.

ADDISON, Ill. (PRWEB) May 18, 2016

ITsavvy, one of the fastest growing technology product and service companies in the U.S., just opened a leading-edge datacenter in Cedar Knolls, N.J. With 99.999% guaranteed uptime, the newly upgraded facility is designed to provide clients with the assurance that their backend support is running seamlessly 24x7x365.

ITsavvy President and CEO Mike Theriault said, “From just about every standpoint; storage, security, backup, disaster recovery and sheer performance, we are convinced the Cedar Knolls Data Center is nearly unrivaled in the Manhattan area.”

The datacenter combines world class technology and networking capacity with top-tier providers and fiber connections to ensure high-speed connectivity that is reliable, secure and powerful whenever and wherever. Features and benefits include:

  •     Redundant Internet through multiple Tier 1 carriers
  •     Redundant generator and power inputs
  •     Multi-redundant cooling and monitoring systems
  •     New storage for the VDI environment to boost performance
  •     A new higher performance compute for the VDI environment
  •     Upgraded servers and systems for enhanced consolidation and efficiency
  •     100% HIPAA and HITECH compliant; SSAE 16 audited; PCI DSS 3.0 compliant; Safe Harbor certified; and SOC 1.0 and 2.0 certified.

The location was selected for its close proximity to ITsavvy’s technical team and the availability of smart hands if needed. Since all of the equipment required physical migration, ITsavvy undertook extreme care and planning to reduce the possibility of data loss. All client systems were backed up and replicated to a temporary location in the upgraded New Jersey datacenter in case there was physical and/or logical loss.

The Cedar Knolls Data Center was designed and built by ITsavvy’s premier team of storage, backup, and disaster recovery engineers using best-in-breed HPE Blade Center, Cisco UCS-B Series servers and Pure Storage all flash array for high performance coupled with an EMC SAN array storage for mainstream workloads. ITsavvy’s team of certified Citrix, Microsoft, HP, and Cisco engineers designed and will maintain the entire system for optimal performance and limited downtime.

The fully-redundant architecture, made possible by a blended carrier environment, minimizes points of failure and downtime—even during power outages. ITsavvy monitors the operation 24x7x365.

“Our single-minded goal was to make the Cedar Knolls Data Center a world-class facility—a place where our client executives are proud to bring their clients and prospects,” Theriault said.

ITsavvy’s datacenters are strategically located across the U.S. for nearly failsafe redundancy.
