New VP brings more than 10 years of experience in commercial lending

Generations Federal Credit Union announced that Mark Johnston joined the 75-year-old financial institution as Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager. In this role, Johnston will be responsible for developing new commercial relationships for the credit union.

Johnston brings 10 years of experience in commercial lending, as well as expertise in credit administration and business development. Prior to joining Generations, Johnston served as Vice President, Business Relationship Manager at Chase Bank and Vice President of Corporate Lending at TransPecos Banks.

“Mark is an essential addition to the Generations team and brings a tremendous depth of knowledge and experience to our commercial lending department,” said Ken Raymie, Chief Risk Officer at Generations Federal Credit Union. “His unique skill set will allow us to expand our commercial business and continue to provide exceptional service to our members.”

Johnston holds a BBA in Finance from Texas State University and is an active member of their Finance and Economics Advisory Board.
