Metro Leadership Foundation of Louisville Plans Free Preview of Life-changing Children's English Learning Program, GrapeSEED

Attendees of this no-cost event and lunch in Louisville on October 31st will learn how GrapeSEED, an oral language and critical listening program for early childhood education students in preschool-second grade, is helping to close the achievement gap in language.

Louisville, KY (PRWEB) October 20, 2015

The Metro Leadership Foundation of Louisville will host a free Preview event and lunch on October 31, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST for school administrators, principals, educators, and anyone interested in improving the quality of early childhood education programs and literacy for the young learners of Kentucky.

At this special information event and lunch, which will be held at the Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky, the attendees will learn about GrapeSEED, an exciting program making a huge difference in the lives of children.

GrapeSEED is a supplementary program for oral language and critical listening, proven highly effective for challenging socioeconomic status (SES) students, “at-risk” learners, and English Language Learners (ELL). GrapeSEED builds the oral language structure so often missing and so needed for learning to read and write. It establishes a foundation for success in school and beyond.

GrapeSEED can be used as an intervention pullout, push-in, or stand-alone program. It works for children from age 4 and older, and can be implemented in diverse settings:

  • Inner-city and rural, early childhood classrooms;
  • Programs to accelerate learning of economically disadvantaged children;
  • Response-to-Intervention (RTI) initiatives;
  • Title programs for struggling learners;
  • Special education programs;
  • ESL classrooms or English immersion programs

The Preview event will provide the opportunity to hear first-hand from educators using GrapeSEED; learn about research conducted with diverse student populations over the past several years; and see a demonstration of the program in action. A complimentary lunch will be served. Attendees can RSVP online at
