Mobile banking is changing the way people bank.
(PRWEB) December 15, 2013
Online and mobile banking are useful tools for any individual who plans to track spending, keep up with regular bill payments or catch identity theft before it can get out of control. Depending on the level of banking and the details involved in a particular account, it may be a useful way to manage credit cards, student loans or other debts as well as the basic checking and savings accounts. A new Jimmy Johnson-hosted "Leading Edge" segment will feature organizations leading the charge in the mobile banking sectors.
Online banking refers to any activity that takes place online and relates to the bank account. It may include all of your accounts within a particular bank, such as any debts, credit cards or savings accounts that you may have. With online banking, you can quickly balance your checkbook and keep track of your spending.
Mobile banking is similar, but it focuses on the activities you can do with a mobile device like a tablet, laptop or smartphone. It is usually a little limited when compared to online banking services, but it does offer instant alerts to banking activities and potential concerns.
The "Leading Edge" with Jimmy Johnson will explore online and mobile banking. During the series, the advantages and disadvantages of online banking will be identified and explained.
"Leading Edge" is a public broadcast, but it is not distributed by PBS. Visit http://www.leadingedgeseries.com or email the "Leading Edge" producers at info(at)leadingedgeseries(dot)com to learn more about upcoming series and the details regarding current series events.
