ClimeCo Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of its’ newest staff member, James Bellmore, a twenty-year veteran of the environmental offset market. Jim joins ClimeCo Corporation as Senior Manager, California Markets.
As co-founder and former vice president of National Offsets Inc., Bellmore has traded hundreds of millions of dollars of multiple types of environmental credits within the U.S. Voluntary Carbon Markets and the Cap-and-Trade Markets of the Los Angeles area, known today as RECLAIM (Regional Clean Air Incentives Market). Mr. Bellmore’s involvement with RECLAIM was instrumental to its establishment and growth in California.
This announcement marks an additional touchpoint upon ClimeCo’s development of its position as a market leader, on top of its’ recent announcement of expanded Ozone Depleting Substance (ODS) destruction, livestock methane capture and organic waste composting expertise through the acquisition of Environmental Credit Corp.
“Jim Bellmore is a driven, charismatic and upstanding ambassador of voluntary and cap-and-trade environmental commodities markets,” stated ClimeCo president William Flederbach. “His success is in-part attributed to his commitment to abide by high ethical values, evidenced to fellow market participants through trust and accountability.”
Bellmore’s portfolio of environmental commodity expertise also includes groundwater rights, sewer connection credits and emission reduction credits.
ClimeCo Corporation is a respected advisor and trader of environmental commodity market products. Specialized expertise in regional criteria pollutant trading programs, California cap-and-trade, voluntary markets and project development and financing of internal CO2 abatement systems complement ClimeCo’s diverse commodity portfolio.
