The official launch of the Avergan Foundation was kicked off with a fundraiser which included unique auction items from Winspire

It was the official launch party for the Avergan Foundation on Thursday, December 12th. The new charity promotes awareness and support for autism spectrum disorders. The event included live and silent auctions, along with live entertainment, food and fun. It was also the premiere of a documentary short by Clickspark, showing the positive impact the Avergan Foundation can have on children and families affected by autism spectrum disorders.
The evening was a triumph as they successfully raised $7,500, which was just shy of their fundraising goal of $10,000. All proceeds from the event will go to scholarship programs for children on the autism spectrum. To everyone’s surprise the Mayor or Annapolis, Mike Pantelides, even showed up and gave a great speech. His girlfriend is a special Ed teacher who works with autistic kids so they were very supportive.
Winspire partnered with the Avergan Foundation to provide a unique travel package to include as an item in their live and silent auction. The package that sold was an exclusive VIP tour of the Sam Adams Brewery in Boston, MA. The winner purchased the Experience for his anniversary to surprise his wife.
