New online professional development opportunity brings STEM, STEAM and Arts Integration ideas to over 1,000 teachers around the globe.

Westminster, MD (PRWEB) November 03, 2015

EducationCloset, an online resource for teacher professional development, is hosting their 6th Arts Integration and STEAM online conference on February 6, 2016. Registration for the conference is now open for educators who are interested in learning more about the Arts Integration approach and how to move from STEM to STEAM education.

“Educators want to bring more creativity back to their classrooms, but with testing mandates and shifting standards they are unsure of how to do so,” states Susan Riley, founder of EducationCloset. “This conference is a way to connect passionate educators and break down the traditional silos that exist in schools. Each session provides practical strategies and processes that are working right now in schools around the country. And because it’s all online, it’s very convenient for schools, teachers and communities to attend and afford. One click and you have access to an amazing learning experience with ideas you can take right back to the classroom.”

The conference offers the ability for registrants to attend live via an online streaming platform or to watch the conference sessions on-demand for a full year after the event. All registrants receive up to 10 professional development hours for attendance. Registrants will also be eligible to enter the Fund My STEAM Dream contest for a chance to win up to $5,000 in funding for their Donors Choose classroom projects.
