The Consumer Product Safety Commission and the following manufacturers have announced these product recalls:
About 5,700 Sunbeam Convertible Irons, because a wiring issue can cause the iron, which converts to a garment steamer, to overheat and cause a fire. No injuries have been reported. About 460,000 air compressorsmade by DeVilbiss Air Power Co., because the motor can overheat, posing a fire hazard. DeVilbiss received nine reports of motors overheating, including three reports of fire damage. No injuries have been reported.
The recalled compressors were sold under the Craftsman, Delta Shopmaster, DeVilbiss, Husky and Porter-Cable brand names. DeVilbiss, Porter-Cable, Husky and Delta Shopmaster compressors were sold at home centers nationwide from January 2003 through December 2004. Craftsman compressors were sold at Sears stores nationwide from September 2000 through December 2005.

About 22,650 jars of American Spoon Foods brand Apple Chipotle Salsa, Maple BBQ Grilling Sauce and Pumpkin Chipotle Roasting Sauce have been recalled because they may contain undeclared wheat flour and may put certain consumers at risk for wheat or gluten sensitivities or allergies. No illnesses have been reported. The products were sold via mail order from American Spoon Foods and through specialty food retailers in New York and 12 other states.
