Roosevelt Field mall retailers are looking to fill hundreds of positions with the help of a two-day job fair next week.
Job seekers can learn about employment opportunities available at Roosevelt Field in Garden City during the free job fair on Sept. 26 and 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The event will feature more than 30 retailers in search of local talent, with many accepting applications to fill part-time, full-time and holiday positions, ranging from entry-level retail and sales to management opportunities.
Participating retailers include American Eagle Outfitters, Cache, Coach, GUESS, Michael Kors, Microsoft, Sony, Roosevelt Field Guest Services and more.
Candidates should attend prepared with a resumé to provide to prospective employers, who will conduct one-on-one screenings and provide information about the opportunities within their companies.
Roosevelt Field, managed by Indianapolis, Indiana-based Simon Property Group, Inc., is currently undergoing an expansion and renovation that will introduce a dining district and Long Island's first Neiman Marcus. The mall is anchored by Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, Bloomingdale's and Dick's Sporting Goods and has more than 270 specialty stores.
