Greybarn Amityville, a new mixed-use development in North Amityville, has secured its first two retail tenants, according to brokerage firm Sabre Real Estate Group.
Starbucks will take an 1,800-square-foot space and is set to open in the next few weeks. Urgent care chain GoHealth, which is run by a Northwell Health System partnership, will lease a 2,220-square-foot space, and plans to open at the end of the year, according to a Sabre news release.
Greybarn is being developed by Plainview-based developer Rechler Equity Partners. The mixed-use development replaces Frontier Park, a former trailer park. The project, which sits on a 20-acre site, will include 500 luxury apartments and 45,000 square feet of retail space when completed.
The addition of the two tenants creates “an amenity for the residents at Greybarn Amityville,” said Mitchell Rechler, managing partner at Rechler Equity. Rechler said Starbucks and GoHealth will “work perfectly with the residential component, which is the drive of the whole project.”
Sabre Vice President Russel Helbling and managing principal Jayson Siano represented Starbucks in the deal. Mike Stone of Cushman & Wakefield represented GoHealth.
