Farmingdale-based Talon Air, the private jet charter and aircraft management company, has expanded its summer luxury nonstop program of helicopter, turbo prop and jet service to the South Fork, the company said Tuesday.
Now in its 10th year offering Manhattan-to-Hamptons service, it has equipped both its six-seat Sikorsky S76 helicopter and King Air B200 turbo prop with WiFi Internet service.
It flies to Montauk, East Hampton, West Hampton and Southampton airports and heliports, departing from East 34th Street, West 30th Street or Wall Street heliports.
The Sikorsky can make it from Manhattan to East Hampton in 30 minutes, the company said.
It also continues to offer its international charters during the summer.
“We have an aircraft that can meet the scope of any mission," Talon Air sales director Paul St. Lucia said in a news release.
"Our clients can make use of our King Air B200 turbo prop from Easthampton to Saranac Lake to visit their children away at summer camp or travel from Westhampton to Nice, France with 14 of their friends in our Gulfstream V heavy jet.”
Talon is based at Republic Airport in Farmingdale, with a 100,000-square-foot hangar and office complex.
Its fleet includes the Sikorsky 76B Helicopter, Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, King Air B200, Hawker 400XP, Hawker 800XP, Hawker 4000, Challenger 300, Legacy 600, Challenger 604 and Gulfstream IVSP private aircraft.
And, the news release says, "Talon will accommodate any request that is safe and legal."
