Command & Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight
Genre: Real Time Strategy
EA is at it again with their next installment of the Command and Conquer franchise. After the last version of the classic RTS Command and Conquer going back to its roots in a cartoony adaptation of the original, Red Alert 3, the more chiseled styling is back and more futuristic than ever.
The game takes place in the year 2062 with Tiberium infesting earth pressing humans to the brink of extinction. Tiberium harvesting is put to bed as a new system of resources emerges called the “Tiberium Control Network” which allows factions to tap into resources by building collection structures rather than waiting for you harvesters to return to base.
Rumor has it that this will be the last in the series for Command & Conquer. It’s been a good run; hope this one brings the franchise to an explosive end.
Look for it on PC March 16th 2010. No news of platform releases as of yet, but I have my fingers crossed for an Xbox version.
