With Windows Quick Launch bar, you can easily access frequently used items - your desktop, e-mail, programs or open a new browser window - with one click.
1. If you don't see the Quick Launch bar on your Taskbar
(it traditionally appears on the
left-hand side), right click on an empty part of the Taskbar and select Properties. Check off Show Quick Launch, then click OK.
2. Add shortcuts by dragging and dropping them into the Quick Launch bar area from your desktop; or right-click on the Quick Launch bar, select Open and drag shortcuts into the folder. Right click on shortcuts you no longer want and select Delete.
3. The order of the Icons can be rearranged by dragging. If you need room for more icons, right click on the Taskbar and uncheck Lock the Taskbar. Resize the Quick Launch area by dragging the dotted vertical rule, then relock the Taskbar.
