Tii Network Technologies Inc., of Edgewood, has a new chief financial officer, the company said Tuesday.
The new executive, Stacey L. Moran, is a certified public accountant with two decades of financial experience in banking and manufacturing.
"In addition to her experience as a chief financial officer of a publicly held corporation, her experience also includes a role as controller of a high-tech publicly held manufacturing company," said Tii president and chief executive Kenneth A. Paladino. "We are confident that she will be a significant contributor to the continued successful execution of our strategy."
Moran most recently worked at Suffolk County National Bank. She resigned from the bank in June after two years as chief financial officer. A Securities and Exchange Commission filing did not say why she was leaving.
Her departure from Riverhead-based Suffolk Bancorp came after it warned that it might have to restate loan losses for one or more quarters and would delay filing its first-quarter earnings. The company said expected first-quarter losses of $12.9 million might be incorrect because it may have to set aside more money to cover loan losses.
