When you're out on travel and need cash from another bank's ATM, how much extra will you pay?

Bankrate.com says the average total cost for an out-of-network ATM withdrawal is now $4.69, which is up 2.6 percent from 2016 and 55 percent total over the past decade.

The study also found the average ATM fees in 25 U.S. markets, and how much someone can expect to pay taking out cash while out of town — or even out of network.
