Organizers of the New York International Auto Show say they expect as many as 70 world or North American vehicles to debut at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, up from 63 last year.
Brands expected to show new or redesigned vehicles include Cadillac, Chevrolet, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar/Land Rover, Kia, Infiniti, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Scion, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen.
Brand representatives generally were unwilling to provide much detail or photography in advance of their news conferences Wednesday and Thursday.

The show will open to the public on Friday, April 3, 2015.
