Best-selling cars in 2013

2013 was a good year for car sales, as most major automakers reported sales increases of at least 7 percent, according to The Associated Press. A healthier economy and a bevy of high-profile vehicle refreshes helped bolster these sales, but failed to propel any new models into the top 10. As a result, the best-selling cars of 2013 all appeared on the 2012 top sales list, albeit in a slightly different order. The Ram pickup, which kicked off the year by being named the North American truck of the year, rose two spots over the course of the year, making it the biggest gainer on the list.
